We asked Managing Directors, Finance Directors, Sales and Marketing Directors and IT Directors about the business issues that were causing them most concern.

The Top 5 business issues that emerged from the survey were, unequivocally:

1. Maintaining or increasing profitability and margin
2. Improving business performance
3. Managing rising costs from overheads and sales
4. Improving customer service and satisfaction
5. Eliminating inefficiency, duplication and lack of visibility in business information

Of course, there were differences in terms of how these were prioritised, depending on the role the respondents held within each organisation.
