Every December our staff nominate a charity they’d like us to support for the following year. This year I was ecstatic to learn my nominated charity, Rainbow Trust, had taken the votes!
Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child with a terminally or life threatening illness. They go above and beyond to support the whole family.
I joined the company three years ago, and I’ve had so much fun raising money for the charities we supported in that time.
However, I guess the fun was questioned when I was falling through the sky at 120 mph during a Sky Dive for the Alzheimer’s Society, or when a very helpful volunteer saved me from going under in an ice-cold river during the warrior inspired Spartan race for Eddies; I think it’s safe to say we, at Cambridge Online, aren’t scared to raise money for our charity of the year.
So, the first question we had was how can we help such an amazing charity this year?!
If you’d like to get involved with helping us raise money for a good cause, or have any ideas you’d like to see us do, please let us know.
With a fantastic £3,000 already raised I’m excited to see what we do this year to get us to our £10,000 goal. Watch this space…
