Congratulations! You have found a Microsoft Dynamics partner! This is not always so easy and once here, how do you know we’re the best fit for you? (We are, easy!)
Microsoft Dynamics solutions (ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning and CRM - Customer Relationship Management) are supplied, implemented and supported by a partner network. Microsoft is interested in your project success but will not be directly involved (their job is creating and maintaining world leading software). The partner network is accredited by Microsoft and there are different levels of accreditation. Level of certification and other industry acknowledgments (for example President’s Club or ERP Partner of the Year) are a good reflection of a partner’s commitment.
Don’t rely on Microsoft: Microsoft can provide guidance and introductions to partners but this is based on what they know. Unless you have an existing relationship with Microsoft, the team you’ll speak with tend to be junior and office based with no depth of understanding of the many partners. They are bound not to recommend one partner over another but if they do know of a partner with strength in your industry they will point you in that direction.
Do rely on due diligence: the best quick way to find a great partner is through referral. If you know someone who has worked with that partner and would recommend them. Otherwise, it’s down to meeting the key team members and taking customer references.
