Julia White, Microsoft Corporate Vice President for Azure and security says “It was only a few years ago when most of my customer conversations started with, ‘ I can’t go to the Cloud because of security. It’s not possible,”
“And now I have people, more often than not, saying, ‘ I need to go to the Cloud because of security.”
But why have consumers opinion changed?
There are 1.5 million attempts to compromise Microsoft’s IT systems every single day. While the attempts don’t succeed, Microsoft continuously learning how these attackers work and how to stop them.
This data, added to billions of information passing through Microsoft’s Cloud, is being imported through their intelligent security graph; then applying this knowledge, to get rid of any threats heading in their direction.
The Cloud is changing our society, from artificial intelligence to how we communicate, we are already taking advantage of the resources presented to us. And as more individuals trust the Cloud in their day to day lives, so do businesses.
So, the answer to the question is simple, the Cloud allows for Microsoft to continuously learn from these cunning attackers and create sophisticated tools to guard them off and as this is proven time after time, peoples options change.
