Cambridge Online’s Applied
Technology Group is accredited under the ISO 9001:2000 Quality
Standard to supply, install and test structured
cabling systems. The accreditation also covers the requirements of
the TQAB/TQAS Standard.
- We partner with high class system manufacturers including
Brand-Rex, Krone,
Hellermann Tyton
and 3M
. Each installation is backed by a manufacturers’ warranty of
up to 25 years giving complete peace of mind for the duration of the
life of the cabling system, this is coupled with a 100% testing methodology
and a zero defects approach.
- Our portfolio of products includes Category 5e (class D) and Category
6 (class E) systems offered in all cable types ((UTP,FTP,ScTp, PVC,
LSOH, Plenum) .
- Cambridge Online offers Complete Structured Cabling (planned modular
system) systems in the UK and Europe from initial free site survey
to system design concepts (in house) through to cable installation
and final network testing and commissioning, offering total flexibility
to the end user through cross connect distribution of Voice and Data
network traffic.
- Our approach to all projects coupled with our major investment
in advanced Fluke
Networks testing equipment (giving high end diagnostic services)
and installation procedures guarantee that all installations conform
to International Standards and are delivered to the end user with
the minimum of disruption.
- Ideally situated on the world famous Cambridge Science Park we
offer an unrivalled local service to East Anglia, offering rapid response
and national service to a wide client base along with highly trained
employed engineers and technicians located at strategic locations
throughout the UK. With our trained committed flexible workforce we
deliver effective project management that controls projects within

- We have experience of installing Structured Cabling Systems into
a variety of sites including Industrial and Manufacturing, Laboratory
and Research, Commercial offices. Retail, Local Government, MOD sites
and Campus Environments. We also have gained experience in installing
systems within Architectural and Listed Buildings where installation
constraints apply.
- We partner with several local interior design companies and can
incorporate and co-ordinate at the crucial design stage all systems
whether retrofit into refurbishment or complete new systems into greenfield
construction sites.
- We are a corporate member of the Bicsi
organisation an International Telecommunication Association which
offers high quality training and technical material, all key personnel
are qualified in design and technical installation practices.
