Our
expertise and experience is based around the provision of enterprise
solutions for business, and HPC (High Performance Computing) systems for research and design.
You know that today’s IT environments are complex and challenging, and you insist on suppliers who have the ability to understand the breadth of your existing systems and infrastructure, together with your plans for the future. We have a history of providing customers with proven technology as an enabler for their business goals. This could translate in to systems that run your business applications, provide accurate simulations, offer low time latency transactions, or manage and retrieve large volumes of data.
Cambridge Online’s continuing success is built on the services we provide to you; bringing our specialist technology skills to bear on customer problems.
As an accredited preferred partner, we offer the complete range of workstation and server products from Hewlett-Packard which scale from Intel or AMD based 32bit x86 industry standard systems with single or multi-cores, 64 bit multiprocessor IA64 Intel Itanium systems, and clusters or GRID compute farms based on these technologies. We provide operating system environments of LINUX, UNIX or Microsoft Windows to suit your applications and existing environment.
The availability of powerful industry standard components has opened up the deployment of cost effective HPC systems in innovative solution areas that would have previously been dismissed as uneconomic. This move to deploy the latest IT technology is driven by the need to reduce costs and be first to market, whether it is drug companies saving months of experimentation in a 12 year development cycle, or financial services organisations shaving microseconds off a transaction.
Our High Performance Computing Lab provides extensive hardware and software facilities for proof-of-concept demonstrations, benchmarking, porting, testing and technical support.
Our build facility enables systems to be designed, built, configured and tested to meet particular application requirements. This capability spans from small single box servers to large multi cabinet clusters, and includes all cable and power management to ensure a reliable and maintainable configuration is provided.
Systems are protected by extended warranty options and manufacturer’s maintenance services. We provide a range of value-added technology services to ensure systems fully meet user requirements.
System purchase programmes include lease and financial services, equipment trade-in and upgrade. Professionally refurbished equipment is available where product availability or cost is a constraint.
